Description

Intelect are an award-winning electrical and mechanical engineering company with bases in Middlesbrough, Leicester and Grimsby, predominantly servicing process industries such as food and beverage manufacturing, utilities, heavy industry and renewables. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Workshop Supervisor to lead a small panel manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in a similar leadership role.

Role Details

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure projects are kept on track and the workshop remains efficient.
  • Ability to understand and interpret electrical / panel schematic drawings and act as a mentor to junior staff.
  • Ability to manage own and time and time of others.
  • Ensure quality is kept to a high standard within the workshop.
  • Report to the Panel Department Manager with daily updates of project progress.
Candidate Details

We are looking for someone with the following experience and qualifications:

  • Previous hands-on experience as a panel wireperson, with a good understanding of how to interpret electrical / panel schematic drawings.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory or team leader position.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, team members and priorities.
  • Full UK driving licence advantageous but not essential.

 

Working Hours
  • Full time – 37.5 hours per week
