Intelect's logistical skills were brought into play when we were contracted to remove and replace a pair of gas-fired air handling units from the roof of a Co-op Store in Barry Road, Northampton.
The replacement units had to be transported by ferry from France and overland to site in Northampton. The project involved the partial closing of traffic light control of Northampton city centre carried out Sunday 21st March 2010, to allow the required craneage of the units into position. Associated gas pipework, electrics and distribution ductwork were renewed as required. Both units were successfully installed and commissioned and back on line by the following Wednesday 24th.
