Intelect and five other industry-leading Teesside businesses, have signed up as corporate partners to work with High Tide.

Founded in 2012, the Tees Valley charity, dedicated to offering young people valuable career experiences, has grown significantly over the last six years, creating a level of membership which offers considerable benefits both to the Foundation and businesses in the region.

Fran Cormican, Managing Director of Intelect, said: “We are thrilled to be entering 2019 as one of High Tide’s corporate partners. My fellow directors and I all started our careers as apprentices, and now apprenticeships are a major driving force in our business’ success.

“We couldn’t think of a better way to support the young people of our area, than to partner with a charity that promotes the same values when it comes to providing opportunities to the youth of Teesside.”

Testing & Inspection Services

All electrical installation work is inspected and tested by fully qualified engineers and all work completed is within accordance to the British Standard BS7671 and the NICEIC governing body.

All electrical work is closely supervised by our own two company NICEIC qualified supervisors to ensure all electrical work is compliant to the current version of the IET Wiring Regulations and within accordance to the Electricity at Work Act 1989.

As a company being enrolled to the NICEIC approved contactor scheme, we are subjected to continual annual assessments to ensure all work is to a good quality standard. This meaning as well as our electrical installation work, all test instruments being used must be continually monitored for calibration consistency and all documentation is to be correctly completed and easily traceable.

All our inspection and testing engineers are fully qualified to the relevant City & Guilds or equivalent qualifications and have many years of experience within the industrial environment.

We offer services for electrical installation condition reporting for large existing installations to small portable cabin supplies. This will provide as documented evidence of the integrity of the electrical installation for insurance policies or part of a planned preventive maintenance scheme.

We also offer a service for portable appliance testing (PAT testing), carried out by experienced and fully qualified electricians. As part of the service we supply on completion a maintenance register with comprehensive test results of all equipment inspected.
