Intelect Champions Community Support with Festive Charity Initiatives Across Teesside
Intelect is proud to reaffirm its long-standing commitment to the local community by supporting a series of charitable initiatives throughout the festive season. Community support remains a core company value, and this year Intelect has expanded its efforts to ensure families across Teesside receive vital help at one of the most challenging times of the year.
This Christmas, the electrical and mechanical engineering company is supporting three local charities, each playing an essential role in improving the lives of children and families across the region. Thanks to the generosity of its employees and partners, Intelect has contributed over £3,500 towards different Christmas projects.
Intelect once again participated in the Teesside Charity Christmas Toy Appeal, an annual campaign that ensures no child in the Tees Valley wakes up without a gift on Christmas morning.
Staff across the business donated an impressive variety of toys and gifts, with the company also contributing additional items to help bring joy to children throughout the region.
Intelect has also continued this support by contributing to the Cause Foundation and their Christmas Hamper campaign – a remarkable charity that collects personalised hampers for families in need.
This year, Intelect supported two single-parent households, collecting donations from our employees alongside a contribution from the company. They created multiple hampers filled with toiletries, food items, and presents for each member of the family.
Finally, as part of its ongoing Baby Steps partnership, Intelect is once again supporting Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice in Middlesbrough. The hospice provides vital respite, palliative, and end-of-life care for babies and young children with complex needs.
Zoe’s Place has been Intelect’s charity of choice for the past two years, with the company participating in numerous fundraising events to help sustain the hospice’s essential services.
From the 2nd to the 9th of December, the charity is taking part in the Big Give campaign, which Intelect has pledged £3,000 towards! During this week, each donation is doubled, helping the hospice reach its fundraising goals, and maximise the impact for local children and families.
