Intelect Secures Long-term Contract With Northumbrian Water

Intelect are delighted to announce a long-term framework with local utilities giant, Northumbrian Water, becoming a Direct Delivery Partner to assist their asset delivery team on both their waste water and clean water sites.

The framework, which covers the entire North East area and beyond, will see Intelect provide electrical and mechanical support on any new installations and existing asset refurbishments across Northumbrian Water’s operational sites.

Having worked with the company for over 20 years, Intelect have a longstanding relationship with Northumbrian Water and their Tier 1 suppliers, who include the likes of Mott MacDonald Bentley and Interserve.

The national framework, which commences this month, is the first of its kind to be awarded to Intelect, and comprises of a group of seven other companies, three of which are based in the North East.

Intelect are proud to be expanding on their already strong range of engineering capabilities, with the framework potentially allowing for further employee growth in the coming years.

Intelect’s Contracts Manager, Kevin Willis said, “We are thrilled to be expanding on our service offering for Northumbrian Water. I have worked with them personally for nearly 30 years, 20 of which have been with Intelect, so it’s great to continue such a positive relationship.

As a Direct Delivery Partner of Northumbrian Water, Intelect will work collaboratively with the business to identify and deliver cost effective and efficient solutions to their customers.
