Industrial fryer refurb for KP

Industrial fryer refurbishment

This project was commissioned by KP Snacks and commenced on the 3rd of November 2014. The 10 meter long industrial fryer was stripped, cleaned and refurbed with new and reconditioned parts and wiring.

The work was carried out at our Riverside Park workshops in Teesside and completed by the 26th of November 2014, taking just 4.5 weeks from start to finish. Intelect then delivered and installed the fryer to KP's manufacturing plant in Rotheram.

Steel mezzanine platform

Platform build for Burts Crisps

Intelect were contracted by Burts Chips in Plymouth, to undertake the design, fabrication and installation of their phase 1 mezzanine floor to be installed in their new packaging area.

Our CAD department carried out all the design work for the platform, all fabrication and welding work was carried out in-house to BSEN 1090. On completion of the fabrication process, the platform was then disassembled and transported to Plymouth where we installed the platform and the necessary electrical installations.

Abrasive wheel training

On site training

Abrasive wheel training

Abrasive wheel training

Training plays an important part in our success at Intelect both in maintaining an excellent safety record and ensuring we are eligible to compete for contracts operating in demanding environments.

Our Teesside based site was purpose built, with both workshops and office space to deliver products and services, of the highest standard, within the sectors we operate.

Our training room provides a space away from the normal working environment and free from distractions, so staff can participate in courses to maintain the qualifications and accreditations required for us to operate in compliance with both voluntary and compulsory legislation.

Abrasive wheel training

Above you can see staff participating in 'Abrasive Wheel Training' required by anyone who is involved in the selection, inspection and use of abrasive wheels in the workplace.  The training is given in accordance with the duty of care placed on employers by the PUWER regulations.  Staff who have completed this training will have the knowledge to select the correct wheel for the job, the suitable PPE required, and to cut or grind using the tool safely.

Do you need training space on Teesside?

Whether you operate within our sector or you just need some space to provide training for your staff, we can rent our training rooms to you. We have all the expected training aids you would expect in a well-equipped office and we can provide light refreshments and have plenty of parking. If you would like to discuss this further please call our reception team on 01642 878784.
