Intelect Midlands receives recognition for Engineering Excellence
Intelect Midlands, based in Leicester, have recently been named as the best Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Company in the 5th annual Midlands Enterprise Awards 2022.
The awards, hosted by SME News, highlights the hard work and dedication of companies throughout the Midlands region, showcasing businesses from across multiple industries and sectors.
Established in 2013, Intelect Midlands offers a variety of electrical and mechanical engineering solutions to a range of clients in process industries. Covering everything from small bespoke projects to total turnkey solutions, their specialist teams are on hand to provide high-quality craftmanship, delivering multi-million-pound projects successfully.
Intelect Midlands Director, Chris Smith said, “We are really proud to have received this award. As a business we are dedicated to continuously providing high quality solutions for our clients, so to have been recognised for this is really rewarding for us as a team, and is testimony to the hard work of our employees.”
In the last 11 years, the company has grown from just six members of staff to over 35, enabling them to widen their capabilities and become a one stop shop for their clients’ engineering needs.
This year, Intelect Midlands made a significant investment of £20,000 to upgrade and innovate a number of their systems, allowing them to improve their already impressive electrical design capabilities, further cementing their competitiveness as a market leader in the design and manufacture of control panels.
In recent years, the company has also remained committed in providing meaningful career opportunities for young people in the local area, supporting seven apprentices in completing their electrical apprenticeship. This dedication is not only positive for the young people involved, but it also enables Intelect Midlands to retain skills and talent within their workforce.
