Trainee Accountant

Job Description

Payroll, processing sales and purchase invoices/credit card input/use of Sage Line 50/Eque2 /Payroll, supplier payments.

Eventually progressing onto VAT returns, Bank reconciliations, CIS Returns.

Hourly Wage: £3.90 per hour (minimum wage for Level 3)

Working Hours: 40 hours, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm

Annual number of days’ holiday: 32 days inclusive of bank holidays

Driving Licence: Would be preferable to have divers’ licence/ own transport on to premises. Bus route is available but can be difficult in the winter.

Apprenticeship Qualification: AAT Level 2/ AAT Level 3

Future Job Prospects: Progression into a senior role.

Skills Required: Accepted on AAT course, IT Skills, Good communication skills.

Personal Qualities: Able to work well in a team, willingness to learn.
